City of Rutledge Online

CALL TO ORDER

Mayor Knight called to order the Rutledge public hearing on the above date. Council members Brenda Thompson, Tony Sells and Bruce Altznauer were present. Council member Tim Smith was absent. There were no citizens present.

BUDGET DISCUSSION

Debbie Kilgore went over the changes that were made since the last meeting. She advised that she added a new line item for tree removal and maintenance. She said that she budgeted money for new lift stations in capital outlay to spread over the next couple of years. She also informed them that she carried over a fund balance for the dredging of the sewer pond. The council went over several line items and asked questions and had discussions.

PUBLIC INPUT

Mayor Knight called for public input. There were no citizens present. Mayor Knight asked the council if they had any more questions. They did not.

RESOLUTION TO ADOPT FY 2016/2017 BUDGET

Brenda Thompson made motion to approve the resolution to adopt the City of Rutledge Fiscal Year 2016-2017 budget for the General fund. Bruce Altznauer seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried. Brenda Thompson made motion to approve the resolution to adopt the Fiscal Year 2016-2017 Water/Sewer fund budget. Tony Sells seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried. Tony Sells made motion to approve the resolution to adopt the Fiscal Year 2016/2017 SPLOST fund budget. Brenda Thompson seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
