CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Bruce Altznauer called to order the public hearing on the above date. Council members
Tony Sells and Brandie Owens were present. Council members Brenda Thompson and Adam Beckstine were absent. There were no citizens present.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Altznauer called for and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
DISCUSSION OF FY 2023 / 2024 BUDGET
City Clerk Debbie Kilgore went over any line items that changed since their last meeting. Council member Tony Sells asked if the salary line item included rate increases. She said they did not. Council member Sells stated he thought the employees should receive a 2% increase. Mayor Altznauer and Council member Owens agreed. Tony Sells made motion to increase salaries 2% across the board. Brandie Owens seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried with a constitutional majority. Debbie Kilgore went over the Water / Sewer Fund budget and said the only change since the last meeting was adding a line item for the service line inventory in the amount of $8,000.00.
CALL FOR PUBLIC COMMENT
Mayor Altznauer called for public comment for or against the Fiscal Year 2023 / 2024 budget.
There was no public comment.
APPROVAL OF FY 2023 / 2024 BUDGET
Council member Brandie Owens made motion to approve the Fiscal Year 2023 / 2024 budget with the addition of a 2% increase in the salaries line items. Council member Tony Sells seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried with a constitutional majority. Debbie Kilgore advised she would make the change and send the new total to them the next day.
Tony Sells made motion to adjourn at 5:34 PM. Brandie Owens seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried with a constitutional majority.
