CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Bruce Altznauer called to order the public hearing on the above date. Council members Brandie Owens, Brenda Thompson and Adam Beckstine were present. Council member Tony Sells was absent.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Altznauer called for and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
DISCUSSION OF MILLAGE RATE
Mayor Altznauer said he was turning it over to Debbie Kilgore to talk about the millage rate. Debbie Kilgore stated that she used the rollback rate during the budgeting process. Brenda Thompson asked what is the difference in taxes compared to last year? She said there is an increase in revenue of $8,162.00. She advised the council this is due to the increase in assessments and not an increase in the millage rate. She said it is helpful to look at the five-year history. The millage rate is lower this year than it was last year. The roll back rate is 3.197. She asked if there were any more questions. There were none.
PUBLIC COMMENT
Mayor Altznauer called for public comment. There were no citizens present. There were no public comments.
SET MILLAGE RATE
Brenda Thompson made motion to take the rollback rate and set the millage rate at 3.197. Adam Beckstine seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
Brandie Owens made motion to adjourn the public hearing at 6:25. Brenda Thompson seconded, all voted in favor and motion carried.
