Description

The 33rd Annual Rutledge Fair in Downtown Rutledge will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M.  There will be an old fashioned parade of vintage cars and tractors honoring our military, and a beach-themed golf cart competition on Fairplay St.  Mr. Rutledge and Little Miss Rutledge (presented by Rutledge Wings) will also be in the parade, and will be crowned following the parade at the gazebo.  There will be arts and crafts, antiques, and other vendors throughout City Park, a bounce house and other inflatables for kids, kids games and activities, live music by MaCayla Cook, Horace Reeves, The Madisonaires, Tim Saye, and Coley (Nicole Jones), dancers, and Rutledge Idol competition (presented by Yesterday's Cafe at the gazebo in City Park).  There will also be book signings by poet John Charles Griffin, and authors Molly Lesnikowski and Dave Belton.  The Caboose turns 20 this year and will have a 20th birthday party with free ice cream at 3:00 P.M.  Don't miss the biggest and best Country Fair to date in beautiful downtown Rutledge, Georgia, Small But Special.
